AK Drive, a program of SERRC - Alaska's Educational Resource Center, began with funding by the Denali Training Fund Youth Program, Alaska Highway Safety Office, First Bank, State Farm, Shattuck and Grummet Insurance, Wells Fargo, Mendenhall Auto, Commercial Signs and Printing, Coeur Alaska and Sitka Moose.
